ARTIST BIO
Fleur Fine Art is co-directed by partners Christy MacLear and Ali Walsh.
Christy MacLear is a dynamic business leader who continually looks to redefine how artists can be supported, propelled and appreciated by new audiences. She brings a penchant for large-scale project management including heading the strategic planning for Disneyys new town development in Florida, to leading the Museums through the construction and opening of Chicagoos Museum Campus. This vision and energy combined with her passion for the arts as the Board President of Chicagoos Three Arts Club (now launching a major restoration) and former School of the Art Institute professor led her to partner with Ali Walsh to start a gallery with a new view of showcasing emerging and established artists together.
Ali Walsh is a fellow Pilsen resident, known for her work with Chicago artist Dolan Geiman and their gallery/mobile art entity Hockshop Gallery. Having participated in everything from street vending to major art expositions, she is sensitive to the varied strata in the Chicago art scene. Wishing more artists could support themselves from their work, she specializes in marketing and management consultation to artists in all stages of their career. Her devotion, vitality and amiability are unrivaled in the emerging scene.
