ARTIST BIO
Esyn Design + Architecture and interior design firm specializing in hospitality, retail, and entertainment design. In addition to hospitality work, Esyn has also completed a number of residential and commercial projects. Esyn's scope of services does not end with architectural and interior design, but includes furniture, lighting, product design, graphic design and artwork. Established in 2003 with an expanding client list and completed hospitality projects including Rockit Bar & Grill, Avenue M, and the Underground in Chicago.
The founder and principal, William Ewert, has over 17 years experience in the architecture and interior design profession, with a focus on creative and innovative design. With bachelor's degree in architecture from Arizona State University, William moved from Los Angeles to Chicago in 1994 to attend the University of Illinois at Chicago; graduating in 1996 with a Masters of Architecture degree. William spent over six years with Jordan Mozer & Associates, completing domestic hospitality projects in Chicago, Orlando, Miami, and Las Vegas; as well as international hospitality projects in Hamburg, Dusseldorf, and Wolfsburg, Germany. |

STATEMENT
Esyn's design philosphy is based on the conceptualization of new and innovative ideas to match each clients business model. Each new project has an inherent set of criteria that allows the design process to yield creative ways to define program, discover relationships between building design elements, and establish identity and presence. Esyn's design process, remaining flexible, allows for the conceptualization of ideas to transform and develop throughout a changing project environment. |
