ARTIST BIO
Ron Reason, a Chicago artist and photographer who has previously lived in Buenos Aires, Nairobi, and LaPorte, Ind., has worked as a design and photo editor and as creative consultant to some of the world's best and largest newspapers. He also has taught typography and graphic design at the Ringling College of Art and Design, and lectured on graphic thinking and creativity worldwide, in such places as Moscow, Oslo, Reikjavik, New Delhi, Madrid, Dubai, Singapore, Sao Paulo, Lisbon (Ohio) and Venice (Florida). |

STATEMENT
within(Reason) is the experimental contemporary art and photo space of Ron Reason. The goals of the gallery space, in Pilsen and online, are modest: to provoke, inspire, delight, warn, educate, and help. This year, proceeds from art sales will benefit children's arts and literacy programs in the Kibera slum of Nairobi as well as in the Chicago Public Schools. |
