ARTIST BIO
Amanda was dragged from thrift store to thrift store by a price-gun-weilding mother at a very young and impressionable age. After years of therapy she scrounged up some courage to face her past and wandered into a Salvation Army Thrift Store. It was there that she found her medium, unleashing a creative genie of recycling. baabaabllü is her line of recycled knit products resulting in hats, scarves, childrenns clothes and toys that have found their way into some of Chicagoos most distinguished shops. |
