ARTIST BIO
Jim graduated from Chicagoos Columbia College, where his father, James Newberry, founded the Photography Department in 1968. Jim began his career as a freelance photographer shortly after graduating in 1986. His work has appeared in many publications, including the Chicago Reader, Magnet, The New York Times, and Rolling Stone. He has shot album covers for American, Atlantic, Drag City, Thrill Jockey, and Touch & Go. |
