ARTIST BIO
Max Levine grew up in Chicago. After completing his BA in Painting at Hampshire college and subsequent travels, he returned to Chicago. Max has been living and painting in Pilsen since 1999. Last year, he became an MFA candidate in the low-residency program at the Vermont Studio Center.
Max's work is primarliy figurative oil painting. His themes include toilets, self-portraiture and most recently, chess. |
