  Kait Schoeb- Bio

Raised in Pittsburgh most of her life, Kait Schoeb is a self-taught fine- artist. Although mainly specializing in oil painting and color pencil drawings, Kait has drawn her whole life. She started off with cartoon drawings and quickly developed into more realistic aspects. She was introduced to oil paints when she was a junior in high school and had a fondness for painting people. That next year, Kait used colored pencils as a medium for the first time to create an even more realistic style. With the encouragement and support of her high school art teacher, Kait was entered into many art competitions her senior year of high school. She has won numerous prestigious awards including first place in the 18th Congressional District of Pennsylvania where her artwork hung in the capitol building in Washington D.C for a year. After turning down an offer to attend Savannah College of Art and Design, Kait took on free-lance work and created commission artwork for corporate companies. Kait also is also agency signed for modeling and has worked on numerous professional movie sets where she has made personal as well as professional connections to the art world. She now currently keeps busy working as a full time Graphic Design Artist for Giant Eagle Market District located in Pittsburgh and occasionally works on commission pieces.

"Art shouldn't be complicated. You should just be able to see it for what it is. " - Kait Schoeb
