  International Sculpture Center: Outstanding Student Achievement in Contemporary Sculpture Award Show  
  August 10th, 2012 - International Sculpture Center Temporary Space - 1932 S. Halsted 1st floor  
  The International Sculpture Center is proud to bring the work of the 2011 Outstanding Student Achievement in Contemporary Sculpture Awards recipients to the Chicago Arts District. The exhibition showcases award-winning, cutting edge emerging artists, displaying captivating examples of skill and concept that broaden the notion of sculpture. The exhibition will be on view during 2nd Fridays in August and September, and will coincide with our 23rd International Chicago Conference October 4th-6th, 2012 and Chicago Arts District Open House October 5th & 6th.

The ISC established the Outstanding Student Achievement in Contemporary Sculpture Award program in 1994 to recognize deserving sculpture students and to encourage their continued commitment to the field of sculpture. The program is organized by the ISC and is sponsored in part by Gertrud and Heinz Aeschlimann; Grounds For Sculpture; and Johnson Art and Education Foundation; and the Jon and Mary Shirley Foundation.'
